Yes. Scout reads your garage on every message, year, make, model, specs, maintenance history, modifications, and NHTSA recalls. When you ask about tire pressure or service intervals, it answers for your bike, not a generic one.

Can I talk to Scout with my voice?

Yes. Tap the microphone icon to speak. Ask Scout to plan a route, check weather, log maintenance, or answer questions about your bike, all hands-free. During a crash detection countdown, Scout listens for you to say "I'm okay" or "I'm fine" to cancel the alert, or "help" to send it immediately.

Can Scout find gas stations or food near me?

Yes. Ask Scout to find a gas station, restaurant, or any stop near you. It returns real business names and distances and can add the stop directly to your route.

Yes. Choose between four in Settings: Clanker (dry and mechanical, the default), Pearl (warm and Southern), Gauge (pure signal, just the facts), or Miles (easygoing and practical). The switch takes effect immediately, no restart needed.

Is there a limit to how many times I can use Scout?

Scout has a daily message limit that resets at midnight. During active rides, the limit is paused so Scout is always available when you need it most.

Live Share generates a link and automatically sends it to your selected contacts via SMS and email the moment your ride starts, no extra step needed from you. Your selected contacts can open the link in any browser on any device and follow your location in real time. No app or account required on their end. The link deactivates when your ride ends.

Set a countdown before a solo ride: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours. If you do not tap Check In before it expires, your emergency contacts automatically receive a text and email with your last known GPS location. Tap Check In Now anytime to reset the timer and keep riding.

How does crash detection work?

When enabled, Time to Moto monitors your phone's accelerometer for a G-force spike above 4G followed by 2 seconds of stillness, the pattern of a real crash. That triggers a 60-second countdown. Scout speaks to you and asks if you are okay. Tap I'm OK, say "I'm okay" or "I'm fine" to cancel, or say "help" to skip the countdown and send alerts immediately. If 60 seconds pass with no response, SMS and email alerts go to your selected contacts with your exact GPS coordinates.

Can I say "I'm okay" instead of tapping the button?

Yes. Weather is sampled at multiple points across your entire route, temperature, wind, rain chance, and visibility, not just at the start or destination. A severity badge summarizes the worst condition along the full route.

Road Conditions are color coded: red for closures, orange for construction, yellow for accidents, gray for other incidents.

Can I add a stop while I'm already navigating?

Yes. The search icon turns green during navigation. Tap it to search for a stop, or long press anywhere on the map to drop a point and add it to your route. You can also ask Scout mid-ride. Every added stop shows as a numbered marker on the map, green for upcoming, gray for passed. When you get close to a stop, the app marks it as passed and moves on.

Can I edit a route after planning it?

Yes. Drag any marker to reposition it, remove stops from the waypoint list, or long press anywhere on the map to add a new point. Ask Scout to add, remove, or change stops. Your route stays in the Trip Planner after you start navigating and is only cleared when you tap Clear Trip or plan a new one.

Can I import routes from other apps?

Yes. Import any GPX file using the GPX button in the Routes tab. Full geometry is preserved, including off-road and unpaved sections. The route is never snapped to roads and is ready to navigate immediately after import.

Can I edit an imported route in the Trip Planner?

Yes. Open any imported route in the Trip Planner to check weather and road conditions along it. The original geometry loads intact. If you drag a waypoint, add a stop, or change a destination, that segment recalculates automatically, expected behavior for any manual edit.
